High Hampton Inn is pleased to announce that Craig Hartle will serve as the new PGA Golf Professional for the property. Craig comes to High Hampton from the Atlanta-area and has been a Golf Professional for 27 years, 24 of those as a Class-A PGA Professional. He brings to the resort years of experience that he has gained from working with, consulting for, and teaching at resorts and private country clubs. Prior to arriving at High Hampton, Craig served as the Director of Golf/General Manager of the Echelon Golf Club/Georgia Tech Club in Alpharetta, Ga.

Throughout his career, Craig has been an active member of the Georgia PGA. He has served on numerous committees and on the board of directors for the organization. From 2004-2006, he was the Georgia PGA Tournament Chairman, and he served as the Tournament Director of the Georgia State Open from 1988-1993 and again in 2003.

No stranger to awards, Craig was chosen as the Golf Professional of the Year for the Georgia PGA in 2006. He has won more than 33 professional golf events, and is a two-time Georgia PGA Champion (winning in 1986 and 1995) and three-time Georgia Senior-Junior Champion. In 1990, he was one of four golfers in the USF&G National Skins Championship, which was televised nationally on ESPN.

Craig’s life-long love and appreciation of golf have paved the way to his new position at the Inn.
