With 30 years of experience, Pat Weaver has been able to transform her love for the watercolor medium into the classroom. She provides an eye-opening experience for her students that flock to her workshops year after year. Workshops are energized and encompass fundamentals and discipline. Students are encouraged to expand their emotional and creative direction of the art. Pat Weaver has published a myriad of publications including “Watercolor Simplified” in 2003 by North Light Publishing.



Class Description – Simplified expression. Pat Weaver’s approach to drawing, design/composition, and values and palettes will be created with only 3-5 colors. Several demonstrations are performed each morning, following afternoon critiques.

One day is exclusively devoted to painting plein air outdoors; with weather permitting, or painting in the beautiful dahlia garden at the High Hampton Inn. Individual attention is assured each day.

$1,160 per artist, double occupancy
$1,222 per artist, single occupancy
$880 per non-artist sharing a double room

Includes: Instruction, lodging, three meals per day, all applicable taxes, complimentary golf and tennis. Workshop students are invited to join their instructor each day for lunch in the dining room for conversation and insight on creative painting. Participants need to bring their own supplies.
