Tucked into the North Carolina Blue Ridge Mountains, High Hampton Inn provides the breathtaking setting for your dream destination wedding. Surrounded by mountains, lush green landscapes, and towering forests, we offer wedding services to parties of all sizes. From a choice of a beautiful outdoor ceremony and reception or an exciting event in the Pavilion, couples are sure to have a wedding that won’t soon be forgotten. The peaceful mood, stunning vistas, and unique combination of Southern comfort and rustic charm make High Hampton the perfect location for every couple’s biggest day.
We offer a number of unique places for you to exchange vows. Our side lawn, overlooking the 35-acre sparkling Hampton Lake and Rock Mountain is a favorite spot, as well as the front lawn, which is surrounded by the towering heirloom tree garden featuring a Ginkgo tree, Bottlebrush Buckeye, Bald Cyprus, a fiery Copper Beech, and one of America’s tallest Frasier Firs that were all planted more than 100 years ago. Tucked away amongst the mountain laurels and rhododendrons, the Lakeside Laurel Garden can accommodate 80 guests for a seated dinner, making it the perfect spot for a rehearsal dinner or a small reception. A large stone fireplace provides a romantic glow and warmth on colder mountain nights, while spotlights hidden in the trees give the area a magical feeling.
For indoor ceremonies, the Pavilion, which is decorated in warm earth tones, chandeliers, and wood-beamed ceilings, is ideal. Outside, a cobblestone patio complete with a fire pit and a columned portico, surrounded by flowering gardens, is a beautiful setting for your cocktail hour, providing stunning views of the estate.
After the excitement of their big day, couples need a special retreat to bask in their happiness.
